Evening with Industry is an annual dinner held the night before the Fall Engineering & Computing Career Fair.  It is a great networking opportunity for students and employers to visit prior to the career fair.

Students

Engineering & computing students get an exclusive opportunity to interact with prospective employers. Pre-registration and payment of $15 must be made in advance.

The evening includes time to mingle and a formal dinner. Student seating is assigned based on major, class level, and registration date. All employers who take part in the event will receive resumes of all students in attendance. Resumes must be submitted no later than a week before the event to be included in the distribution.

Engineering and computing students at all academic levels are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend. Seating is limited. Dress is business attire.

Student registration will open in August 2019.  To see a list of companies who attended last year, click here.  Please email ecc@ku.edu if you have questions.

Employers

Evening with Industry is an excellent opportunity for employers to let potential candidates know what makes their organization stand out while building real connections with KU students. The relaxed dinner atmosphere allows students to ask questions that are really important to them. Students are seated according to their company preferences and/or major.

The employer registration fee for Evening With Industry is $250, which includes one table for each company and dinner for two representatives. Registration for Evening with Industry is available with the Fall Engineering and Computing Career Fair registration and is available on the Engineering Career Center website by June 1. Registration is limited to 30 companies.
