Join the Engineering Career Center on a quest to explore the career you have dreamed of!

Suitable for all levels of undergraduate and graduate students. Please choose ONE of the career road trips available:

Trip 1: 

Before the fall semester begins, join us on a tour of the pharmaceutical research lab and manufacturing plant at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica and then the distillery operations at MGP Ingredients in the St. Joseph area. Priority will be given to chemical and mechanical engineering majors. Friday, August 17, 2018, from 9am to 5pm.

Trip 2:

On the same day as the trip above, another group will get to see the manufacturing operations at Frito-Lay followed by a plant tour at Hill's Pet Nutrition in the Topeka area. Priority will be given to mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineering majors. Friday, August 17, 2018 from 9am to 3pm.

Trip 3:

During fall beak, come imagine a day in the life of a software engineer at the Federal Reserve Bank and Cerner Innovations Campus in Kansas City, Missouri. Priority will be given to computing majors. Monday, October 15, 2018 from 9am to 4pm.

Trip 4:

During fall break, join us on a walk through the aircraft assembly line and flight test center at Bombardier Learjet and then Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita. Priority will be given to aerospace engineering majors. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 6am to 5pm.
