Graduate School Application Checklist

  1. Prepare and take appropriate exam(s) (GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT) Check application materials carefully to see if any specific GRE subject tests are required

  2. Contact people you intend to use as references (Generally 3-5 people) Provide them with a copy of your resume and any other relevant information

  3. Write Personal Statement Have it Reviewed by:

    • Application 
    • Personal Statement/ Statement of Purpose 
    • Supplemental Materials i.e. applications for scholarships, fellowships, Assistantships, or any other materials requested in the application materials
    • Letters of Recommendation 
    • Transcripts 
    • Exam scores 
    • Payment for any application fees

  5. Confirm each school has received their required documents.
